so what were you thinking??....of course its bed scenes !
....so,

In Katmandu , Nargarkot & Pokhara, we stayed in very very comfortable guesthouses, for as little as US15 - US25 (double or triple room) equipped with even attached bathroom. Except the bed mattresses are mostly saggy but sheets are clean and changed.
We had no complaints really. In fact a little bit surprised at its value's worth.
Out along the mountain trail, our trekkin guide chose again clean and at some teahouses even had modern toilet system and solar system water heating !!! WOW... very impressed. However, as expected we had some souvenirs on our hands and legs, from the bedmites, even tho' we slept in our own sleeping bag on the bed. The marks usually last for a while, unfortunately.
We recommend the "Agnesia Antiseptic" powder which can be bought at pharmacy. Realised that the mites kept away from the areas on our body where we apply the powder.


Our favorite and cutest guesthouse is in Pokhara called Gauri Shankar Guesthouse, with its facade of polka dotted walls surrounded with thick natural fauna and flora. A double room priced at only US10 - US15 per room - very clean and airy. Comes with hot shower facilities. To top it all, the management/staff are very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel that we will never go back again is called The Panaroma in Pokhara...totally expensive, not worth US20 ! Located at back lane and at most times the water heater in bathroom was not working at all ! Manager not friendly. Hotel Not recommended.

And the other one to avoid in Katmandu is ACME Guesthouse (cheap US22 triple room) ...BUT firstly, the boss has a permanent long face and secondly, most importantly, the room comes with "extra" guest ........haunted.
